Артериальная гипертензия (АГ) занимает лидирующее положение среди факторов риска сердечно-сосудистых заболеваний (ССЗ) в связи с высокой распространенностью и серьезным прогностическим значением [1]. Около 1,13 млрд людей в мире страдают АГ по данным 2015 г. [2], что приводит ежегодно к 10 млн смертей от ее осложнений [3]. Несмотря на современные рекомендации по менеджменту АГ и наличие эффективных и безопасных антигипертензивных препаратов, контроль АГ весьма труден. По обобщенным данным около 50 % гипертензивных пациентов не достигают целевых уровней артериального давления (АД) [4]. В российской популяции знания по медикаментозной коррекции АГ ограничены, сфокусированы на клинических исследованиях и популяционная оценка гипотензивного лечения актуальна.
